John Niles - Owner

In 1990, John and his wife Terry started Red Line Transmissions in Hawley, PA. John rented half of a two bay shop where he removed, rebuilt and install transmissions all on his own. As his customer base quickly grew, he hired help and expanded to keep up with the demand. The shop was moved to Honesdale in 1994 and has been there ever since. John has to his credits; ASE certifications, CTI courses, High Honor Graduates from ATC and has also taught transmission classes at Lackawana Community College. In his free time (what's that), he enjoys camping with his family and is planning on opening a Camper and RV dealership to go hand in hand with the Honesdale Auto Repair Shop.
